Dear Prospective Student:

Dr. Paul Maguire, D.N., CEO

Thank you for your interest in the profession of Naprapathic Medicine and in the doctoral degree program offered at the National College of Naprapathic Medicine.

As you may know, Naprapathic Medicine is a licensed health care profession which treats connective tissue disorders by the use of gentle manipulation (manual medicine), nutritional counseling, and therapeutic modalities. With advances in technology, e.g., the MRI (magnetic resonance imagery), we are now able to validate a substantial amount of connective tissue disorders empirically. Also, this technology is expanding at a very rapid rate. Since naprapaths specialize in connective tissue disorders this has led to an increased acceptance and recognition within the health care community and the public at large. Having the ability to treat Naprapathically, using both manual medicine and nutritional counseling increases your results dramatically when treating connective tissue disorders. As a result there is an ever-increasing demand for qualified licensed Naprapaths. This is a dynamic opportunity for individuals seeking a career as a licensed alternative health care practitioner.
