study tea,"One might ask? Over one thousand years
ago, during the Tang dynasty in China, it was said that
"tea cures every disease." Below are just some

This
8 hr. seminar will include a lecture on the history of
tea, its various forms, and its health benefits. There
will also be a basic Chinese tea ceremony for all participants

Instructor:
Dr.
Tony Zayner, D.N. has been a martial artist and student of Chinese
philosophy and culture for over 40 years. He has owned a few successful
schools of martial arts and was the 1988-1989 undefeated U.S.
National Tai Chi Push Hands champion and went to China as a U.S.
team member for three successive international tournaments. In
1989, he moved to Taiwan to work for the Chinese government as
a consultant for six government ministries and to teach at three
of its premier universities. There, he studied Mandarin, Chinese
Medicine, painting, calligraphy, Tai Chi and Chinese culture.
He returned to Chicago in May of 2000 to complete his studies
in clinical massage, Oriental medicine, clinical hypnosis and
Naprapathy. He previously taught at both Midwest and Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine. He is currently a professor and seminar
teacher at the National College of Naprapathic Medicine. He has
also founded the Shu Family School of Tai Chi Ch'uan and the Asian
Bodywork Club.

This
is the second half of the NCNM Advanced Thai Table Massage CEU
series. Prone techniques will be taught seven consecutive Sunday
evenings (6:00-9:00) starting Sunday, March 4, 2012 through Sunday,
April 15, 2012.
This
series will focus on clients who complain of “Desk Syndrome.”
The stretches in this protocol pull the body into extension-type
postures and help alleviate pain and discomfort caused by long
hours of desk work. Take the time to learn this skill and your
clients will be very grateful.
Fees:

Health Care Practitioner, Hypnotist and Educator Dr. Tony Zayner,
D.N., L.Ac, MSOM, MSEd, for a two-day seminar examining the
use of hypnosis as an adjunctive tool for your health care practice.
Day 1 -
Saturday, April 21, 2012: Introduction to the art, history and
theory of hypnosis, including modern applications. Video demonstrations.
Day 2 -
Sunday, April 22, 2012: Review of Day 1, practice of theoretical
information, different hypnosis styles and techniques.
Sessions
on both days meet from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a one-hour
break for lunch from 1:00-2:00 p.m. (lunch is not provided by

Day 1 -
Saturday, April 28, 2012: Review and Practice of Techniques
learned in the Basic class. Various inductions: Instantaneous,
Rapid, Progressive (Verbal and Non-verbal). Deepening techniques
(Ex. Fractionation).
Day
2 - Sunday, April 29, 2012: Hypnotic analgesia for clinical use.
Glove anesthesia. Techniques of Color / Light Therapy. Freeing
smokers from their addiction. Intro to Parts Therapy.
Sessions
on both days meet from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a one-hour
break for lunch from 1:00-2:00 p.m. (lunch is not provided by
NCNM)

Advanced seminar is intended only for those who have taken the
Basic Hypnosis for Health Care Practitioners series or have previous
