INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
International students applying to NCNM are required to present proof of proficiency in the
English language by the following scores on the test of English as a Foreign Language:

(TOEFL)
Paper-base total: 500
Computer-base total: 180

RECORDS
An official transcript, with the school seal affixed, along with an official, certified, and
notarized English translation of the transcript, must be submitted to the Registrar. These
records must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency from an approved agency, such as:

An official copy of the evaluation must be directly sent to the Registrar’s Office of NCNM.

F-1 VISA
Form I-20, "Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status" will be issued only
when the following criteria have been met:

  • Written application has been completed and non-refundable $100.00 application fee
    has been submitted.
  • Official transcripts have been translated and evaluated
  • Proof of financial responsibility
  • Qualifications have been reviewed, all essential paperwork completed
  • Official acceptance for a full course of study at NCNM
