Change/Cancellation Policy

NCNM reserves the right to change requirements without notice for admission, course content, tuition and fees and other policies affecting the student experience. Veteran's Benefits

NCNM is approved by both the Illinois and Federal Departments of Veterans' Affairs for the training of eligible persons. The veteran (or veteran’s dependent) must submit one of the following applications (for the category that applies to the applicant) to the Veteran’s Administration to initiate benefits:

Click on the form name for a copy of the form:

22-1990 (first-time application)

22-1995 (student has used benefits in the past)

22-5490 (first time dependent application)

22-5495 (dependent, change in program or training)

Note: it is extremely important that the College name and program title are correctly entered on all forms:

College Name: National College of Naprapathic Medicine
Program Title(s): Doctor of Naprapathy (D.N.) or: Therapeutic Massage Certificate

When this process is completed, a “Certificate of Eligibility” will be issued to the applicant by the Veteran’s Administration. The applicant will then present the Certificate of Eligibility to the NCNM Registrar and complete the 22-1999 form. (Not available online. NCNM Registrar will provide form 22-1999.) Upon completion of the 22-1999 form, the veteran/dependent is eligible to register for classes.

The veteran/dependent must advise the College of any changes he/she wishes to make in his/her schedule, e.g., dropping or adding classes or withdrawal from the College. If a student is not in attendance over a four-week period, it will be assumed that the student has withdrawn, and the Registrar’s office will submit a Notice of Change in Student Status to the Veteran’s Administration.

If a reservist is activated and has to return to service while a semester is in session and is unable to complete the semester, the paid tuition will be credited to his or her account and may be used when they return to the program. No cash refunds will be given.
