Internship and Graduation

Massage Therapy Interns serve the larger community through the supervised student clinic, which offers massage at affordable rates to the public. Student interns spend approximately 60 hours in clinic training prior to graduation. To be eligible to participate in the internship portion of the program, a student must have satisfactorily completed all academic requirements and must have passed all final examinations. Proficiency in all subjects must be demonstrated prior to gaining entrance into the clinic.

Requirements for Graduation

Candidates for graduation must have satisfactorily completed the required course of study and internship, complied with all the rules and regulations of the College, and paid the full amount of tuition and fees. A Therapeutic Massage Certificate is conferred upon the graduate.

  • http://www.ncbtmb.com/applicants_forms.php Notarized copies of certificates of completion and official transcripts from a program of at least 500 verifiable clock hours and 6 months duration, which includes anatomy, physiology, pathology, business practices, massage techniques and ethics.
